Description of the topic:
The presentation is a discussion of the evolution and criticality of Medical Affairs and the scientific framework for success.Medical Affairs teams often live in the “purgatory” between R&D and Commercial organizations within life sciences firms. This presents several challenges, not the least of which is finding a proper metric to measure performance success, or even benchmark/define what “success” looks like. The “Key Performance Indicators” or “KPIs” are a reliable way to evaluate achievement, but more work needs to be done to tie that data to actual organizational impact.
This session will describe how to best position goals, KPIs, and other available metrics to paint a picture of impact. Additionally, we will cover the steps necessary to ensure progress is continually monitored, while allowing for process “tweaks” along the way. As part of your registration, a Medical Affairs KPI Identification Worksheet will be provided and reviewed.
Why should you attend?
